SDG Adopt-A-Road 2018

The Counties, Ontario – The Adopt-A-Road program is open to various groups of volunteers,
families or neighbours to assist in providing a cleaner environment and a more scenic roadway,
by collecting refuse and debris from the side of their “adopted” road.

2018 Construction Projects Notice - MTO

Ministry of Transportation, Ontario - With another construction season fast approaching, the Ministry of Transportation wants to ensure your commutes and trips on Highway 401 remain safe and efficient while road and bridge work is underway.

There will be approximately 20 separate projects occurring this construction season between Port Hope and the Quebec border that will require lane reductions for extended periods of time.

This is to inform all Tenants and Homeowners located on County Road 9, near the Berwick Bridge
(east of the settlement area of Berwick), that the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and
Glengarry Transportation Services has tendered the rehabilitation of Berwick Bridge for the 2018
construction season.

2018 SDG Visitors' Guide Now Available

The Counties, Ontario – The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SDG) Regional Tourism unveiled its 2018 SDG Visitors’ Guide today, which is distributed in key markets across eastern Ontario.

The guide is designed to help visitors easily visualize what it’s like to spend time in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. One of the highlights of the guide features an SDG map including a detachable postcard and a reminder activity checklist.
