SDG COUNTIES, Ontario - Winter, winter, everywhere.
It's only the middle of February, which means there's plenty of snow, sleet, ice and high winds to go around for at least another six weeks or so.
In fact, Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our region, in anticipation of an event that could bring as much as 40 cm of snow, accumulating at a rate of up to 5 cm an hour on occasions.
Motorists should avoid non-essential travel for the duration of the storm, which is slated to begin overnight Feb. 12 and last for much of Feb. 13.
