As the Warden of SDG Counties, I am honored to address you during Pride Month, a time when we celebrate the diversity, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. This month is an opportunity for us to reflect on our values of inclusion, acceptance, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

SDG Counties has long prided itself on being an inclusive community that supports all lifestyles. We believe that every person deserves to live with dignity and to be treated with respect. Our commitment to inclusivity is not just about words but about actions that foster a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.

Throughout Pride Month, we stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ+ residents. We acknowledge the struggles they have faced and continue to face, and we celebrate their courage and strength. It is important that we listen to their stories, learn from their experiences, and advocate for their rights. By doing so, we make our community stronger and more unified.

In SDG Counties, we are dedicated to creating safe spaces where everyone feels valued and respected. Our schools, workplaces, and public spaces must reflect our commitment to equality and inclusivity. We strive to ensure that our policies and practices promote fairness and protect against discrimination and prejudice.

As we raise the Pride flag and participate in various celebrations and events this month, let us remember that Pride is not just a celebration but also a call to action. It is a reminder that we must continue to work towards a future where everyone, regardless of who they are or whom they love, can live openly and authentically without fear of judgment or discrimination.

Thank you for joining us in celebrating Pride Month and for your continued support in making SDG Counties a place where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is welcome.
