Sign permits
APPLY FOR A SIGN PERMIT ONLINE
Sign permits are required for any sign installed on private property that is within 45 metres of the centre of a County Road.
Fees:
- FREE - Any sign located between 30 and 45 metres from the centre-line; or an approved CIP Project
- $175 - Any sign located less than 30 metres from the centre-line.
Property owners must check with their local municipality before applying to ensure that the proposed sign complies with all local zoning by-laws.

Events on County Roads
APPLY FOR AN EVENT PERMIT ONLINE
You must request permission to hold an event on a County Road or within the County Right-of-Way
There is no fee to apply. Events must be approved or endorsed by the local municipality.
ROADCUT/WORK-IN-RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT
A Work in Right-of-Way Permit relates to any activity that results in traffic disruption, including bins, materials and equipment blocking lanes, or the cutting, excavation, boring, filling, additions, or altering in any way, roadways, curbs, sidewalks, boulevards, ditches, trails, and other areas within the right-of-way.
A new driveway/entrance permit is required for a newly purchased property that has an existing driveway access to a County road.
